Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions and Answers

Choosing the right transport for your tour or coach holiday can be tricky. That’s why we’ve prepared answers to some of the questions we’re asked most often

Of course! All we ask is that you let us know how many children are in your group They can sit on your lap, on one of the coach seats or in a car seat (which you have to supply). Please note that each child, even if not physically occupying a seat is counted towards the maximum number of passengers allowed for insurance purposes

That depends on a wide range of factors, including other hire-agreements with other customers Where it is possible, we are happy to help by extending the hire period

That depends on where you’re going. It’s against the law to drink en route to certain events (such as football games) Talk to us about your requirements and we’ll do our best to accommodate you however we can

No. Our coaches’ maximum capacity is equal to the number of seats. This is a legal requirement If you require more seats, get in touch and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your full group

Due to insurance reasons, we cannot offer to supply children’s car seats. However, if you bring your own we will be more than happy to help you fit them.

Unfortunately, mechanical problems are a fact of life. That being said, we maintain our fleet to the highest standards and because we use newer vehicles, breakdowns are very unlikely In the event that the unforeseen does happen, we have comprehensive contingencies in place

Our coaches all have a generous luggage capacity, but the general rule of thumb is that the bigger the coach is, the more stowage space there is If you have particular requirements for luggage space, let us know and we’ll do what we can to accommodate you

We know that things can go wrong and we always try to accommodate your needs. All we require is that you keep us informed of any delays or changes so that we can keep our drivers up to date. If there is any additional charge required, we will keep you informed

We include parking up to £15 per day in our hire agreements as standard. Unfortunately, some larger venues charge upwards of £50 per day for coach parking and this will require an extra payment

There are strict rules around how much time a professional driver can spend actively driving. These have been put in place for the safety of passengers and other road users. We work the required rest periods into the itinerary

There are a range of things which affect costs. Most commonly, it’s down to how old the coach is. The older the vehicle, the cheaper it is to buy but really, this is a false economy. Newer vehicles cost less to run, require less maintenance and offer much better value overall. Older vehicles will rarely conform to low emission zone regulations We keep our fleet up to date and pass the saving on to our customers
